Gentlemen's Shelf is intentionally lightweight. We do not ask for email addresses, phone numbers, legal names, or payment information.

We store only what is needed to run the club:

• Display name
• PIN hash (not the raw PIN)
• Session token and expiration
• Book activity (votes, ratings, read status, meeting preferences)

Data is used only to operate your private book club features.

• Sign-in and session management
• Book recommendations, votes, and reading progress
• Meeting planning and scheduling

We do not sell personal data.
